WOW! tv+ plans are priced well when you consider your plan also includes internet. That said, your overall price is affected by the internet speed you choose, and you might need more speed and data than you expect if you’ve never had a TV service that uses the internet. Still, you can up your internet plan for as little as $10 per month, so it’ll probably be worth it.
When it comes to specific plans, WOW!’s lowest-tier TV plan (Small TV) isn’t a great deal. Unless you really want all those Music Choice channels, you’re probably better off getting an HD antenna to capture basic local channels for free. Medium and Large plans are the best value. Plan prices typically include all regional, sports, and other fees, so you won’t get surprises there. The only thing that gave us sticker shock was the $20–$30 monthly fee for a measly 50–150 extra hours of DVR cloud storage.

To get WOW! tv+, you need to buy WOW! internet too, which is fine by us because this provider offers a lot of value with its internet plans. However, WOW! offers internet bundling deals only with its Small TV plans. If you want more than basic TV, there’s no bundling discount to be had. If you do want Small TV, you can score a $50–$300 Visa gift card, depending on the internet plan you choose. Finally, if you’re into landlines, you can add home phone service to your WOW! internet or tv+ plan for about $10 per month.
Switching to WOW! tv+ is cheap and easy. You can self-install for free or shell out a reasonable $75 for pro installation. WOW! won’t buy you out of your old contract, but you won’t have to sign one with WOW!, and you might score a Visa gift card ($50–$300) if you choose one of WOW!’s bundles.
Because WOW! doesn’t make you sign a contract, there are no early termination fees, and you can cancel anytime by calling customer service. Just remember to mail back your equipment so you won’t be charged for keeping it.
