How much does MaxxSouth Broadband cost?
MaxxSouth isn’t a great value, but the unfortunate truth is that it may be your best option because few other providers serve the same areas. Per-channel costs are super high, the DVR and TV Everywhere experiences are lackluster, and premiums are pricey. Installation and equipment costs are low, but not low enough to make up for everything else. If you live in one of MaxxSouth’s service areas, consider cutting the cord and instead using a TV streaming service—or getting satellite TV.
So who is MaxxSouth for? Well, if your kid (or you!) play local high school or community college sports, you can catch those games on MaxxSouth’s regional sports network. You can’t get that experience with any other provider, so that’s worth considering. And if you’re a MaxxSouth internet customer, love it, and want the same company to handle your TV, MaxxSouth could be the right fit for you. But if you’re willing to break up your internet and TV bills, it’s probably worth checking out the competition.

You can get a one-month free trial of MaxxSouth TV if you ask for it. That’s pretty cool. Unfortunately, you can’t sign up for TV service online. You must call customer service, an extra step that many providers let you skip.
